The greatest gift
The Ghost of Christmas Present showed Ebenezer Scrooge the world around him, the pain and suffering, the bleakness that was embedded in the community in which Scrooge himself lived. Yet though the world was cold and gray, still Scrooge saw joy and celebration all around him. The people may have been poor, but they were still thankful for what they had. And in this journey Scrooge learned that value of thankfulness, and the joy of sacrifice.
